[Collector] Adding Artworks

If you haven’t added any artworks to your collection yet, you can go ahead and click Share an Artwork on your Artworks tab.

You can also choose to add an artwork by clicking the blue + sign on your screen and selecting Artwork on the menu. Once you’re on the Quick Add Artwork page you will see the information boxes to be filled out. The information on this page is the basic info we need to add your artwork to your collection, but adding more details through the Add More Details button will help you create a more comprehensive catalog.

Add your hi-res image of the artwork in your collection, select your Collection Board, write the name of the Artist and fill out all the other details to save your artwork. You can add more than one image.

Allowed Image types: png , jpg , svg (TIFF Files are not allowed)

Privacy Settings for Artworks

Under the image, you can see buttons for Private, Community, Public, and Anonymous. These are settings for how you can share your artwork on the Digital Museum. You can change these settings when you wish by going to Edit on individual artworks.

If you add an artwork to your collection as Private, you can select the private option under the image. This way, only you (or anyone who has access to your collection) can see the artwork on your Collection page. The artwork will not appear in the feed or in the Digital Museum. (Only paid customers have the option to make artworks private).

If you select the Community option, the artwork will only appear to the users in the community. It won’t appear in google search results or anyone not-logged in to the platform.

If it is set to Public, it can be seen by anyone on our platform or on Google search results.

You can post your artwork as an Anonymous piece if you don’t want to disclose that you own this artwork. The artwork will be seen under the Shared Anonymously section in the Digital Museum. Your name or collection will not appear to others and only you can see it on your Collection page. This header will be on the artwork page:

You can always come back and edit the information on your artwork and add more details after you’ve added the artwork.
